Project Reflection I found this project to be very valuable, since it’s directly applicable to real life. Right now, I don't pay any specific bills, but I do help pay for things, so this project help learn more about what it's like to have multiple regular monthly expenses. Specifically, one valuable takeaway I have from this project is that your monthly costs can add up very fast, but you can usually shift things around enough to make it work. One thing I was surprised by was how low my monthly expenses for my car and health insurance were; I expected them to be much higher. I also found that my starting salary is enough to cover my monthly expenses and allow me to save. Throughout this project, I applied and improved my Financial, Economic, and Business Literacy skills by using whatever tricks I’ve heard about in the past to save money to budget for this project, and I improved by now having a sample budget that I can use as a reference and starting point for the future. The one thing I would have liked to also have done in this project is also calculate my expenses during college, since that’s what will be more immediately relevant to me, but this was useful, too.
