scratch.mit.edu/projects/422532380 Description of Work/Assignment: This project was meant to introduce us to broadcasts. We had to make a short animation that used broadcasts. I made a movie about a baseball game.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? This project used Information Skills to figure out how to use the coding platform to make a product.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? I'm quite proud of how smooth my animation turned out; it's not choppy and it almost looks professional.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I improved my Information Skills because part of Information Skills is using new technology to accomplish a goal. Scratch is a fairly new platform for me, and I used it to successfully complete my assignment.
What was most difficult about completing this task? The most difficult part of this assignment was debugging; I had to sit there and run the program over and over again and iron out any bugs.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different? I would improve this work by making it longer; it feels a little unfinished right now.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? This related to the stuff I've done on code.org in the past because both are block-based coding platforms.
How can you apply this to future learning? I can apply this to future learning by taking the patience I had to have to complete this project and apply it to future assignments that also take a lot of trial and error.
